The two parts of this exhibition are in a state of dialogue. Household Manifesto consists of hanging sculptures, showing the artist’s philosophical approach to the ‘human thaw’ at home. It reveals our relationship with the world, our environment and other individuals. The works are created from glass, mirrors and glass tubes.
In the other exhibition, View of the Purification Stage, are seven steps to a ‘clean’ view. Seven hanging mirrors reveal their relationship to human selfishness and people’s ability to integrate themselves with their surroundings to the exclusion of their ego. These two exhibitions complement one another and communicate between themselves, provoking the viewer into some active philosophising.
