The environmental impact of a product is largely determined during the design phase. But how can sustainability strategies be implemented in products and services? The Ecodesign Roadshow aims to promote eco-design as a holistic creative approach and support the exchange of knowledge and experience between SMEs, designers, students and the public. A major component of the roadshow is the travelling exhibition Reconsider Design. Accompa- nying workshops and events address topics like eco-design and the circular economy.
Thirty carefully selected eco-projects in the exhibition are intended to encourage visitors to reconsider their daily habits and reduce the negative impact of human activities on the environment, without sacrificing quality or the items’ unique character.
Project partners: Design Forum Finland, Estonian Design Centre, Swedish Industrial Design Foundation, International Design Centre Berlin, German Environmental Agency.
Exhibition open to visitors on May 9-31, Tue-Sun 11.00-17.00, Thu 11.00-19.00, Opening event: May 8, 17.00.
